                    Winnie Chaney was born circa 1876 in Missouri.  She was the daughter of John Chaney
and Jane Collins Jones.  She married William Bass. 1

On the 1900 Douglas County Census, Jackson Township is listed William Bass, 26, Winnie, age 25, Milllie, 5, John W, 1.

In the 1910 Howell County, Willow Springs Township is listed Bass, William H, 36, Winna, wife, 34, Millie, daughter, 15, Dewey, son, 12, Roy, 8.....all born in MO except Roy, born in AR,

In 1920 they are in Lawrence County Arkansas, Duty Township....Bass, William H, 55, Winnie, wife, 45, Dewey, son, 19, Roy, son, 17. All were born in Missouri except Ray who was born in Arkansas.

1930 Howell County Missouri, West Plains City shows Bass, William H, 58, Winnie, wife, 54, Thomas A, gr-son, 4/12 (?), born MO.

Married: 26 JUL 1891 in Douglas Co., Missouri Note: Recorded in marriage book 1 page 419
