James Granville Johnson

Much of this information on James Granville is not my own research.  It was sent to me by other researchers.

                   James Granville 3 Johnson (Washington2James 1 ) was born October 1834 in Wayne County Kentucky.  He married Mahaley Stogehill May 26, 1856 in Pulaski County Kentucky.  She was born circa 1838 in Kentucky and died in Douglas County Missouri, buried in Fish-Cunningham Cemetery.  James Granville died 1901 in Douglas County, buried Fish-Cunningham Cemetery .

Children of James Granville and Mahaley Stogehill are:

                     i.        John William Johnson, born circa 1856 in  Kentucky.

                    ii.       George Washington Johnson, born circa 1858 in Kentucky.

                   iii.       Nancy M Johnson, born circa 1864 in Kentucky.

                    iv.       Andrew C Johnson, born circa 1866 in Kentucky.

                     v.       James T Johnson,  born circa 1868 in Kentucky.

                    vi.       Malinda B Johnson, born circa 1870 in Kentucky.

                  vii.        Charles S Johnson, born circa 1872 in Kentucky.

                   ix.        Granvill C Johnson,  born circa 1878  in Missouri.

                    x.        Sirene Johnson,  born October 15, 1881  in Missouri, died August 28, 1949.

                   ix.       Mildred Rutha Johnson, born December 20, 1882, died December 31, 1968.  She married
                               John Jefferson Collins.

Notes for James Granville Johnson:

The dates of birth for Granville's children indicate he moved from Kentucky to Missouri between 1872 and 1878, where his brother, William, already lived.
