The following information is not
my own research but was sent to me by Lyman Reynolds, a
descendant
of
James Thompson, the brother of Nancy. This is info from his book
"Thompson
Notes Virginia to Wayne County Kentucky 1804-1806".
I have heard from some other
researchers that the JOHNSON'S were Indian but I do not believe that is
correct.
I remember my grandmother, who was
married to Granville Johnson, saying that he was Swede. I believe
that some of the JOHNSON men married women who were part
Indian.
