Granville "Grant" Johnson ⁵ (  James Washington Johnson ⁴, William Johnson ³, Washington Johnson ² , James Johnson ¹) was born October 1873 in Missouri, and died circa 1908 in Arkansas, Izard County, buried Jones/Conrad Cemetery.  He married Laura Jones March 22, 1894 in Engle, Izard County, Arkansas, daughter of Hiram Jones and Elizabeth Hicks.

                             in Michigan.

                 ii.        Jane Johnson, born November 24, 1899 in Arkansas; died May 1974 in
                             Oxford, Akransas, Izard County, buried Oxford Cemetery.

                             Arkansas, Izard County; died May 15, 1964 in Tulare, California, buried
                             Woodville Cemetery.

                 iv.        Lena Johnson, born circa 1908 in Izard County Arkansas; died circa
                             1995  in Wenatchee, Washington.

From the dates of birth listed for the children of Grant Johnson, it appears that he moved from Missouri to Izard County Arkansas between September 1897  - November 1898.
Grant Johnson was living in Douglas County Missouri in 1880 and Izard County Arkansas in 1900.  Grant died sometime after his last child, Lena, was born circa 1908 and 1910, when his widow, Laura, was shown in the 1910 Census to be living in the household of her brother, Sims Jones, along with her four Johnson children.  She, at that time, had been married and divorced from Alex Woods.  The children are incorrectly listed as Woods instead of Johnson.
