George Jones

This is the info I have found on my Jones line.....with the help of researchers and descendants Joan Sukow ,    Albert Kirkland ,   Mary Jones  , Mary Jane Lyon.

           GeorgeJones² ( William¹) was born circa 1834 in Indiana; died during Civil War, was prisoner at  Camp Morton in Indianapolis, Indiana .  He married Jane Collins, daughter of John Collins and Margaret Collins.

Children of George Jones and Jane Collins are:

                i.           John William Jones, born February 1855 in Missouri

               ii.          Gideon Jones   was born May 1857 in Missouri

My Line   iii.          Hiram Jones, born July 1860 in Missouri.

               iv.         Mary J Jones, born circa 1862 in Missouri.
