George A Floyd

                 George A Floyd (John¹) was born August 04, 1833 in DeKalb County Georgia, and died September 12, 1894 in Fulton County Arkansas.  He married (1) Nancy E Branyon 1856 in Alabama, daughter of James Branyon and Unknown Ellis.  He married (2) Julia B Holland circa 1871.

Children of George Floyd and Nancy Branyon are:

                 i.         Martha Jane Floyd, born February 21, 1857 in Fayette County Alabama;
                            died December 11, 1936 in Siloam Springs, Arkansas.  She married
                           (1) Green Jones.  She married (2) Ed Dean.

                ii.        Francis Marion Floyd, born December 04, 1859 in Alabama; died January
                           01, 1940 in Byron, Fulton County Arkansas.  He married Anhanda
                           Caledonia "Callie" Simmons February 08, 1883 in Salem, Fulton County
                           Arkansas.

              iii.        Mary Elizabeth Floyd, born January 20, 1862; died February 15, 1941.
                           She married Tom Goodwin.

              iv.        John Robert Floyd, born January 26, 1866; died 1866.

               v.        Julia A Floyd, born September 20, 1868 in Tennessee; died September
                          29, 1899 in Salem, Fulton County Arkansas.  She married Lemuel Perry
                          Kay July 30, 1886 in Salem, Fulton County Arkansas.

              vi.        Isaac Newton Floyd, born December 08, 1870 in Arkansas; died January
                          18, 1940 in Salem, Fulton County Arkansas.  He married Mary Frances
                          Wood.

             iii.        Henry Shirley Floyd, born October 1875 in Arkansas.  He married
                          Matilda Holloway April 07, 1901 in Fulton County Arkansas.

             iv.        Walter S. "Doc" Floyd, born February 1878 in Salem, Fulton County
                          Arkansas; died circa 1905 in Salem, Fulton County Arkansas.  He married
                          Rosa F Emery March 27, 1898 in Fulton County Arkansas12.

              v.        Homer W. Floyd, born July 1882 in Arkansas.  He married Nancy Barnett.

             vi.        Fredrick G. Floyd, born January 1886 in Arkansas.

            vii.        Harvey Leslie Floyd, born January 28, 1887 in Arkansas.  He married
                          Sarah Smith.

           viii.     Ada Ellen Floyd, born February 19, 1890 in Salem, Fulton County
                         Arkansas; died November 24, 1969 in Atascadero, San Luis Obispo,
                        California.  She married Charlie Grover Holloway August 04, 1911 in
                         Salem, Fulton County Arkansas.
